Leanne specialises in using mixed methods and systems thinking approaches to understanding the dynamics of social issues. They blend data-driven approaches with community-based participatory engagements to create a holistic understanding these issues.
Leanne has conducted research on a range of issues affecting children, young people and families including child criminal exploitation, mental health and experience of foster care.
They hold a Master’s in Social Anthropology, where their dissertation project examined the relationship between the emergence of social work practice and norms of family life. They also have a BSc in Economics, specialising in economic and operational modelling.
