Matthew is Director of MKSC, a London-based strategy and organisational effectiveness consultancy, providing advisory services to clients in the non-profit and international development sectors. He has over 30 years' experience working collaboratively with organisations across different sectors and geographies to tackle their most urgent strategic challenges. His practice brings a systems thinking approach to organisational change, programme design and evaluation, with an emphasis on driving and scaling innovation. He has worked extensively with Boards and Executive Teams to help build leadership and strengthen governance structures. He is currently a Trustee and leads the Strategy Sub-Committee at KHULA Education, a charity based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. KHULA works with rural schools and underserved communities to provide access to quality education from pre-school to matric, as well as further training and economic opportunities for school leavers. Matthew holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of the WItwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa), an MPhil in Development Economics from Cambridge University (Cambridge, UK), and an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France).

Matthew became a Trustee in September 2025.
