Catherine-Rose specialises in evaluation, knowledge mobilisation and participatory approaches to research, design and systems transition. She works with people, practitioners and organisations committed to learning and driving forward meaningful social change.

Over the last ten years, Catherine-Rose has worked across community development, social work, social care, public health, primary and secondary care. Her methods create a bridge between different kinds of knowledge, with a focus on blending lived experience, practice wisdom, policy know-how and formal research evidence.  

Catherine-Rose is trained in social research methods, with a focus on participatory and arts-based methods and expertise in developmental evaluation and contribution analysis. She holds a PhD in Social Policy, an MSc in Public Health Policy and an Honours BA in English Literature and Classics. Catherine-Rose also attended the Tavistock’s 2019 Leicester Conference in Group Relations. Her recent research has been ethnographic and co-produced with organisations seeking to understand the difference they are making.
